The Missing Engines for Your Minilogue XD.

Custom User Oscillators designed for Hip-Hop, Boom Bap, and Lo-Fi production.

Your Minilogue wasn’t built for Boom Bap.

Out of the box, the digital engine is a beast for techno, but for hip-hop, it feels too sterile. You spend hours layering just to get that dusty feel. We fixed that.

What is a User Oscillator?

If you own a Minilogue XD, one of its most powerful and most misunderstood features is the user oscillator. At a high level, a user oscillator is a custom sound engine that replaces the standard digital oscillator inside the Minilogue XD. Instead of being limited to factory waveforms, a user oscillator allows entirely new sound generation methods to run directly on the hardware, built from the ground up.

For music producers, especially hip hop producers, this is a big deal.

Most synths lock you into a fixed sound character chosen by the manufacturer. The Minilogue XD breaks that rule. It lets you load custom oscillators, files ending in .mnlgxdunit, that fundamentally change how the instrument behaves, not just how it is filtered or modulated, but how sound is created at the source.

That means the Minilogue XD can feel less like a traditional synth (while giving you the full capabilities) and more like a playable, musical instrument that fits naturally into hip hop workflows.
